Me! And Trudi! Also Hazel and Ivy!
Hazel's new trick is to not believe that bedtime is relevant for her. For the last two nights she has happily ignored the bedtime routine, the dummy, the dim room, etc. She just lies there smiling and thrashing about.
So I have reread The No-Cry Sleep Solution and have the following resolves:
1. We need a better bedtime routine.
2. They need better (longer) daytime sleeps.
I can help number 2 by not rushing in and getting them up the first time they stir. I have to help them settle again. usually this means dummies. Just as well Trudi bought a whole lot more after I melted them all...
Right they are waking - time for a bath. They are really gross. Hazel has a sticky eye again.

Twelve Feeds a Day
Hazel is asking for stacks of little feeds these days. I thought that after three months babies needed fewer feeds.
Sigh.
I hoped this was a "growth spurt" but it's been going on for a couple of weeks. Any clues? Post a comment if you have a magic suggestion...

It's Really Humid Today
We are all sticky and gross. The babies' feet feel like blu-tac. The washing will not dry. The evaporative air con has no effect.
I am supposed to be at mothers' group right now, but the little bunnies are sleeping and I can't seem to make myself wake them up. They've been in bed for about half an hour - perhaps that is enough to set them up to cope. In fact I hear someone squeaking now!
I really have no idea what I'm doing.

Bacon is Fine
On the weekend we had brunch with Jackie & Felicity. Flick made an awesome fried brekky, while Jackie compiled a beguiling trestle table in the back yard of their new house. The babies were engaging and cooed satisfyingly.
There was a brief tense moment when Flick suggested feeding the surplus bacon to Dusty the Dog, and Trudi and I both reacted with the appropriate level of horror. Can there even be a surplus of bacon? I think not. So the humans gobbled the remaining morsels and Dusty saw not a skerrick of bacon.

Sociability
Went to a NIMBA lunch today. NIMBA = Northern and Inner Multiple Births Association, which means twins in Preston, Northcote, etc. Also some triplets I hear, but not at our lunch today.
I met some new friends, which is always exciting.
Apparently we will do this monthly. I've offered to be Miss July. By then I think I will be up to hosting a lunch for eight mums and sixteen kinds. NOT YET THOUGH.
Tomorrow we three will go to a pool party at Natasa's mum's place. Natasa is in my mothers' group (they all have just the one baby each). It will be 37 tomorrow, and Natasa promises that there are trees to park under, the pool is shaded, and the adjoining rumpus room is air conditioned.
Off I go, Ivy is calling me.
