Our little girls are growing up

Our housesitter, Pip, messaged Trudi yesterday:

One of our baby chickens has grown up enough to produce a little egg! They are 4 months old.

    Now you're grandparents! Congratulations! And that makes us REALLY young great-grandparents. So soon you'll eat your grandchildren - hang on - that can't be right - I must be going weird in my head to think that. xxx
