you shoulda just jammed them in the car semiconscious and then hoped they'd go back to sleep. (clearly I am not a good mother - my children have been subject to many such traumas and are obviously suffering greatly for it). We've been known to take kids directly out of bed in the pre-dawn greyness to place them in the car (stopping only for a quick wee/nappy stop). It works ok for us. Not sure how much t the counselling will cost for them in the future.

ReplyDeleteWell they did not have an afternoon nap at all, so our plans were foiled.
Unfortunately they ever go back to sleep after being moved. No, actually, it worked once with Ivy. 8-|
